Dragons??? What Are Targintels, Arrolacosts, And Others?

Grevon is full of tons of creatures and species, but there are a lot of confusing things. People often say there are "dragons" or "goblins" or other things that just sound straight up silly! There are reasons for many misconceptions though. For example, humans specifically call targintels and arrolacosts and other monstrous creatures "dragons" because they look like what humans call dragons. In reality, there is no such thing as a dragon, and rather than a fact, it is more of a description of a creature's appearance. The same goes for humans calling agchalosts "goblins." Some other confusions relating to species and their names in Grevon include:

  • Many people think that ground wolves are a type of wolf. It is a logical confusion, but the name ground wolf is simply based on their appearance and divergence in adaptations.
  • The same goes for sky wolves, which are also not wolves and are a close relative of ground wolves
Now, do you know your "dragons"? Its time for a quiz to test your knowledge. Which of the following is creatures called dragons is not a targintel, but actually and arrolacost?: blade dragon, worm dragon, furry mole dragon, dwarf pebble dragon.
If you guessed the worm arrolacost, you are correct. New facts will emerge in the future!
